After earning dual degrees in Finance and Accounting from Drexel University's Lebow School of Business, Lisa spent nearly five years at Deloitte & Touche, serving clients across the Philadelphia and Mid-Atlantic regions. She went on to specialize in partnership and real estate investment taxation at Berwind Property Group LLC (now Equus Capital Partners) — a national firm managing a $4 billion+ real estate portfolio across 25+ states — where she also earned her IRS Enrolled Agent designation.
After serving as Tax Manager at Stockton Bates LLP, Lisa launched Bay Horse Consulting in 2009 to pursue her own client relationships on her own terms. Today she brings a well-rounded business and tax perspective to every engagement, with particular depth in elder care financial management and equine business accounting — two areas where most accountants simply don't have the background to help.
As an IRS Enrolled Agent, Lisa is federally licensed to represent taxpayers before the IRS in all 50 states — not just prepare returns, but advocate for her clients when it matters most.
A lifelong equestrian and USEF member, Lisa splits her time between Newtown Square, PA (Chester County, outside Philadelphia) and Wellington, FL — home to the Winter Equestrian Festival and one of the world's premier equestrian communities. She works remotely and serves clients nationwide.
